For the month of February we will have on display the oil landscapes of Jeff Burkett. Jeff began painting over thirty years ago and is inspired by the rolling hills and lush countryside of Pennsylvania and Tennessee, as well as the intense light of the Santa Ynez Valley of California and Northern New Mexico. Jeff reinterprets the landscape through the use of vibrant color, contrast and intensity of values, working to capture the essence of a memory and convey a sense of place and mood.
